RARE" GARRETT #410 WIDE EYED JIMMY CARTER PEANUT RED HAT RUBBER CAR A rubber Mr. Peanut car made by the Garrett Rubber Co. This wide eyed peanut car with the red hat isn't an easy one to find. He was produced in the late 60's after Auburn closed its doors. The peanut car was designed to honor Jimmy Carter. It measures 5" long and 2 1/2" wide. It has some chipping and paint loss to the eyes. Its red hat is very dull. All 6 wheels are original and roll freely. It has a long peanut shaped body and color is like a shelled peanut. I'm not a collector and don't know much about Auburn & Garrett cars so I'm just calling it like I see it. It is stamped on its underside # 410, Made in the USA, and the G/S logo .
