Fantastic antique horse push/pull toy Gorgeous piece that displays wonderfully, even with wear Entirely hand made and would have taken a gifted toy maker a considerable amount of time to produce Undated and no makers mark, but likely turn of the century and European in origin Measures 21” high, 21” long and 7 1/2” wide at largest points Body is solid hand carved wood construction and coated with a thin layer of plaster. Horse body stands 14” tall, is 15” long and 5” wide. Real horse hair tail and mane. Leather accessories. Wrought iron and wood handle Very solid construction Heavy amounts of cracking and chipping to the plaster. Joint cracks that appear to be superficial only and don’t affect structural integrity. Hair loss to the mane. Missing the securing device for the tail, so the bundle of hair is rubber banded and simply rests in the hole. Dirt and dust throughout. Surface rust to metal pieces. One of the horses feet has a large chip missing that exposes a nail holding it to the base. Piece has wear and heavy signs of use/play throughout Please see pictures for actual condition Please not that due to shipping costs, the handle will be removed from the horse and base with screws secured safely; buyer will be responsible for reassembly which is simply reinstalling the 4 screws
