Description

This Antique 1920s Schoenhut Metallophone (Xylophone) Toy is a rare find. This model has metal keys, not sure what type of metal. The board is wood with a lithograph over it. The Schoenhut name is very legible on the top and the two lithograph angels are intact and very pretty. The keys and nails are all in intact but the twine around the keys is missing. It does show age and has been played with in the past. The Schoenhut company was owned by a German gentleman and was the first to export to Germany. The toy was made in the USA in 1920s and its perfect addition to any collection.
